PFAS Testing

The PFAS proof

We tested for what others don't mention.

Independent reports have found "forever chemicals" (PFAS) in period products — even reusable ones. So we had the material our disc is made from independently tested.

What we did

An independent lab, not our word for it.

We sent our medical-grade silicone to SGS — one of the world's largest independent testing companies — and asked them to screen it for PFAS using the current European standard method. Here's what came back.

470 substances screened

The panel covered 470 individual PFAS compounds — not a single headline chemical.

None detected

Every one of the 470 came back below the detection limit (ND — not detected).

Standardised method

Tested to EN 17681-1/2:2022, using LC-MS/MS and GC-MS analysis.

On the record

A named SGS report number and date, not an internal claim.

Straight talk: this SGS test was carried out on our medical-grade silicone — the material your disc is made from — together with its colour masterbatch and curing agent. It's a material-level result, not a batch-by-batch test of every finished disc. We publish it because "PFAS-free" should mean something you can check, not just a label.

Tested, so you don't have to wonder.

Find your fit risk-free — every order includes free disposable test discs.
